I know Yahoo has been dominated by Google for a long time now. However, people seem to think just because a Google has had a "dominating" position on Yahoo that Yahoo is finished with everything. While this clearly isn't true, you must understand that people still use Yahoo to search online, Yahoo has not stopped advertising, collaborating with other major sites like Associated Content. Therefore you can still monetize your sites onto Yahoo and get the most out of your content and link building on this site and Google at the same time. Why not gain exposure on both major search engines? There are three types of techniques that you can use to get high exposure on Yahoo. These are effective keyword research, article writing and link building.

When you are link building, all you have to do is make sure that you are building good quality links and not any kind of links. In other words, you need to check the websites you are thinking about exchanging links with and see how often they update their site and the overall appearance of the site. If the site doesn't have good quality content, then chances are the site doesn't have a good ranking on any search engine let alone Yahoo, Google or Bing.
