So what ignited my desire to seek a better quality of life. Well, I was working from home one day in my full time job and my 3 year old son at the time was at home with me. I was under the pump from work, trying to meet tight deadlines and my son was trying to grab my attention. He wanted me to play with him. I told him that I can't play as I had work to do. He kept on nagging me and I kept on saying I don't have time now to play.

He walked off on me disappointed and I just kept on working, as if I was a robot. For the next 1/2 hour I did not see him or hear from him. I started to look for him around the house, calling out to him with no response. Finally I found him in the toilet, in the corner, crying, "Dad, I want to play with you". I hugged my son with a tear in my eye and said that things will change, there has got to be a better way. It hit me then and there that I was working at least 60 hours a week and I wasn't there for my boys just like my father did not spend time with his children

growing up because if he didn't work, he would have not got paid. I made a decision then and there that I wanted to spend more quality time with my boys, whatever it took.
