The majority of people who want to work from home are retirees or families.

Retirees - People who have retired or are getting ready to retire have just put in 20 to 30 years of their service to a company. When they retire their pension will be anywhere from 50 to 85 percent of their base pay depending on the kind of business industry they worked for. Even if they have employee stock options, it still wouldn't be enough to live off for the next several years.

Many have lost their 401K during the recession and for some that was the money they were going to use to retire on. Then on top of that you have health insurance and life insurance premiums that will increase and have to come out of their pension. No wonder so many retirees have to continue to work past retirement age.

Families - Many bread winners miss being home with their children every day. They miss the quality time of watching babies grow up and missing out on such things as the first baby step or attending their child's soccer game. Day care is a problem in itself and a child spends more time with a sitter than at home with a parent, especially if both parents have to work.

Let's face it; we all have to make a living in order to have money to pay the bills but is working for someone else the answer? It doesn't have to be. The computer age has opened up many doors to making money on the internet. It is called network marketing or online marketing. There are tons of books, seminars, video's, and online training to teach you how to become a network marketer.

You don't have to have a college degree but you do have to have a computer and internet service. Even if you have an existing business, network marketing can teach you how to get more business by making a website and how to drive traffic to that website.
