The alarm clock rings "rrrrrrrrrrrr"... you groan to yourself knowing that it's just another day in the life of the rat race. Nine to five jobs can quickly become stressful and life consuming for some people. Many people think there is no alternative and believe that working hard day in and day out for someone else's success is the only way to be successful themselves. Busting your butt everyday just so you can collect a small portion of your overall effort and productivity is absolutely absurd. It should be an equal sum equation: you put effort in, you get resources back that equal your efforts. That's how the world works; well, at least in the world of work at home opportunities.
Breaking free from the nine to five is a feeling that is indescribable. Just knowing that you can support yourself using your ideas and skills is extremely empowering. There are plenty of perks that come with working at home as well, not to mention the unlimited earning potential. You don't have a boss, you can work in your pajamas, and for all you "green" people out there, you cut your toxic emissions to around 0. It's true. It's a great lifestyle full of freedom, but don't be mistaken. Working at home for yourself can be extremely challenging at times and is arguably more difficult than working for someone else, but it is all about work ethic.
Maintaining a strong work ethic equals maintaining your job in the nine to five world. The same applies to working for yourself at home. If you have no work ethic and no perseverance, then you are doomed to failure. Without a boss it can become extremely hard to stay on schedule and get things done in a timely manner. You have to stay in control and stay focused on what you are trying to accomplish, and accomplish it. Easier said than done, I know, but if you can stay on track and get things done when they are supposed to be done, then you will be much better off.
Work ethic and perseverance will only get you so far. You have to select the correct avenue for your efforts. You can put thousands and thousands of hours in to a failing system, and you won't get any results. Picking the correct work at home opportunities to pursue is about 50% of the battle. The rest is pure work ethic.
