In 2005 I decided that I wanted to change my life in a huge way. Instead of working at two jobs, many miles away from home, and being gone at least 12 hours each day six days a week, I wanted to be able to make my own hours and work at home. The problem was that I had been working as a classroom teacher and a real estate appraiser so I did not have any idea of how to get started with a home based business on my computer.

Thus, my journey began to learn as much as possible during that next year so that I could turn my dream into a reality. While I was still teaching I began to listen to audio recordings and read as much as I possibly could to get myself up to speed.

That first year was extremely difficult, and I did not earn any money. In fact, I spent thousands of dollars to learn what I needed. Finally I started to make some money with affiliate marketing, and by the end of 2006 I had my own first product. Soon I realized that writing on a blog, turning those blog posts into articles, and holding teleseminars was the way to build an online business. Then social media came along, and I added that to make it even easier to reach new prospects.

The most important thing was that I refused to give up, so that is what I recommend for you. Decide exactly what you want from your home business, and then do everything you can to turn that into a reality. If you want to have a business with unlimited income potential, and the ability to make your own hours, working from your home computer could be exactly what you are looking for.
