So this tells us that we should never try and force our own opinions down others' throats when marketing our money making home business. This is another principle found in the book "How To Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. This article is looking at how we can get cooperation from our business prospects to allow us to make money at home online.

Attempting to find out our prospects wants and needs is an essential first step in this process. I have dedicated a whole article in this series of articles and videos to this process of finding out what people are looking for. In this article I will continue on, and give ideas, as to how we give them the answers they want without using a sales pitch and pushy tactics.

Nobody wants to feel like someone is forcing them to do something or to buy a product. People like to feel the satisfaction that they have made a decision of their own accord. We all like to be consulted about what we want and need. We all have a burning need to feel important.

Asking questions is the way to do this. To find out what people are looking for we need to ask questions. So instead of continuously talking about what a fantastic money making home business opportunity you have for them, stop and ask them what they are looking for. Let them do the talking. Give them answers to questions they ask and LISTEN to whatever they tell you. Let them give you their ideas.

I know I let others members of my team have a say in marketing techniques and I ask advice from them all of the time. It gives people a feeling of respect and importance by feeling like they are part of the process and not just a bystander.

Your aim then is to plant the information into their minds in order to interest them in your money making home business opportunity and get them thinking about it.

Getting them to think the idea was theirs is the key. Don't be worried about taking credit. All you need is results so who cares if you don't get credit for the idea in the first place.

Think about using this technique in family life as well. I use it all the time with my children as it gives them the feeling of importance which is so important for their self esteem. Whether it is to do with planning holidays or even planning our weekly evening meals. If they think they have been part of the decision making then they feel on top of the world. Instead of me telling them what they are doing all of the time giving them some choices (which I control) lets them have some responsibility.
